1. General Conditions

• Services Provided: Vertex Labs provides 3D-printed products, custom additive manufacturing services, and digital design services.
  
  
• Acceptance: By using our site or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or operating under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  
  
• Modifications: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  
  

2. Custom Printing & User-Submitted Files

• Customer Responsibility: For custom or on-demand prints, you are solely responsible for ensuring that provided CAD files, 3D models, dimensions, and specifications are accurate and suitable for your intended use.
  
  
• File Quality & Tolerances: 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. Minor surface variations, layer lines, or micro-tolerances are inherent to FDM/FFF and resin printing processes and are not considered defects.
  
  
• Prohibited Models: We reserve the right to refuse any custom print order that involves weapon components, illegal items, hate speech symbols, or material that infringes upon third-party intellectual property rights.
  
  

3. Intellectual Property

• Vertex Labs IP: All original product designs, images, brand assets, logos, and content created by Vertex Labs on this website remain the exclusive intellectual property of Vertex Labs.
  
  
• User-Provided Files: You retain ownership of any custom 3D models or IP you submit to us for printing. By submitting files, you grant Vertex Labs a non-exclusive license to process and print the model solely for fulfilling your order.
  
  
• IP Guarantee: You represent and warrant that any file or design provided to Vertex Labs does not violate any patent, copyright, trademark, or proprietary right of any third party.
  
  

4. Pricing & Payment Terms

• Currency & Tax: All prices listed on vertexlabs3d.co.za are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
  
  
• Payment Processing: Full payment is required prior to processing or manufacturing custom or standard orders.
  
  
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust prices, shipping rates, or product availability without prior notice.
  
  

5. Limitation of Liability

• Fit for Purpose: Unless explicitly stated in writing, products printed by Vertex Labs are intended for general, decorative, display, or standard functional use. It is the customer's responsibility to verify material suitabilities (e.g., heat resistance, UV exposure, structural load-bearing capacity).
  
  
• Indirect Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act), Vertex Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services.
  
  

6. Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once 3D printing or production has commenced.
  
  
• We offer no refunds or returns for user errors (e.g., incorrect measurements, file flaws, or mishandling).
